Carmine Bianchi is Full Professor of Business Management at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Palermo. He is director of the Masters course on: ‘‘Managing Business Growth through System Dynamics & Accounting Models’’, and of the doctoral programme in Business Management. He is also the scientific co-ordinator of CUSA System Dynamics Group, and partner in Business Dynamics S.r.l., Italy. He has previously worked in Andersen Consulting. His main research and consulting areas are related to small business growth management, entrepreneurial learning, start-up, matching system dynamics with accounting models, dynamic scenario planning and balanced scorecards.
